• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Client limits being divided

Hi,
Just installed Plesk and begun the wonderous process of selling off all the space I've got on the box.

To that end, I've set up some Client Templates, here's an example:

Domains: 30
Disk space: 10Gb
Bandwidth: 40Gb
Databases: 90

When a new client is created using this template, and they then log in to add a domain, a weird thing is happening - the domain is being allocated a share of the feature set equal to that feature divided by the number of domains.

e.g., each domain on this template would get:
Disk space: 10Gb / 30 = 333Mb
Bandwidth: 40Gb / 30 = 1.3Gb
Databases: 90 / 30 = 3

How do I prevent this so that the client is simply able to do what they like with each domain until their TOTAL allocation has been exhausted? e.g. if one domain needs 200Mb of space but they need 4Gb of space for another one. Do I need to let them manage the quotas etc. themselves ?

The easiest way is to let the client manage and partition off their domains.... This still can't surpass their "limit" in limits :) Hope this helps..
