Hi all,

Can anybody help me please? I can't figure this one out.

I've discovered that the password recovery facility does not seem to be working for me in Plesk 8.1.1 (in a Virtuozzo VE, Centos 4.5)

Essentially I'm getting "Invalid e-mail or login, please try again." even when the username and email address entered in the "Forgot your password?" page definitely match the pair that is stored for the client I'm trying to recover the password for.

Initially the problem I was having was as described in http://kb.swsoft.com/en/1163
so I followed the instructions and that certainly solved the "system error #1002" problem.

But once that was solved I got stuck on the "Invalid e-mail or login, please try again." message as explained above.

In the past, strange issues like this have been down to the firewall on the VE not being open for the IP of the Service VE but this is not the case here -- all is well on that front.

Any suggestions?
