• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question CloudLinux 7 support after EOL in July?

CloudLinux announced they will keep issuing security releases for CloudLinux 7 (if the CVE level is high enough) for another year after the regular EOL (end of June '24). I am wondering how this may affect Plesk's view of CloudLinux 7 in terms of it being a supported platform or not.

Will Plesk stop to support CloudLinux7 after June 30th 2024, or will support stay active?

Ceasing support only means that you won't be able to update Plesk to newer versions on the existing platform. Currently I have not heard of plans to extend support for EOLed operating systems just because the vendor offers security fixes for "high" level issues. Rather migrate now than later.
