• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

ColdFusion 8

Running Plesk 9.2.3 on Linux. Plesk Updater shows a green checkmark by "ColdFusion support for Plesk" and shows current and latest release both same at Oct. 16, 2009 and states "You have an up-to-date version."

However, under Plesk CP -> Services Management it states that ColdFusion is not configured. Also, under Plesk CP -> Applications & Services -> ColdFusion Settings -> the ColdFusion installation path is blank.

Can you tell me what needs to be done to finish the installation of ColdFusion so that it is functional?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have plesk9-cf-support package installed on your system?

Try to fill ColdFusion installation path with /opt/coldfusion8/bin/

OK. And confirming the correct version to acquire and install is coldfusion 8? My understanding is that Plesk does not yet support coldfusion 9. Is this correct?

Right, CF9 is not supported yet. We have already request about it and developers are working on this problem.

ETA for Coldfusion 9

Thanks Igor. Is there an Estimated Arrival Time for Coldfusion 9? Even something like 1Q10 or 2Q10 etc. It would be helpful to avoid the CF8 to CF9 upgrade expense if possible. Thanks in advance.
