Configure .htaccees to redirect to http://www.

Hi,

I'm trying to configure .htaccess to ensure all requests for http://mydomain.com to http://www.mydomain.com
but I cant get it to work. I have tried the following examples with no luck:

This works for me...

Options +FollowSymLinks

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/$1 [L,R=301]

Thanks but that doesn't work either!

Can anyone suggest why this command may not be being parsed?

You should put the enforced www mod_rewrite rules in the top of the htaccess, not at the bottom, that should solve it.

Works great w/ joomla as well, I have a client who uses this method with his joomla.
