Configuring thousands of aliases

I need to configure about 10,000 aliases, is there a way to do this easily without having to configure them one by one on the server?

Hello Cranky thx a lot for your reply, I checked the documentation you suggested at sw-soft.com but couldn't find the info on how to configure all the aliases, only info on managing users on the server, could you please give a few more directions.

What I need to do is to configure about 10,000 email aliases or forwarders.

You need to use the API:

i.e. creating a forwarder:

/usr/local/psa/bin/mail.sh --create [email protected] -redirect true -redirectaddr [email protected]

i.e. creating a pop3/imap/webmail box:

/usr/local/psa/bin/mail.sh --create [email protected] -passwd PASSWORD -mailbox true

What you'll need is a script that parses your list of aliases and runs mail.sh to create them for you.
