Confused Folder Structure since 10.4.4 ...

PingPong

New Pleskian
Hi,

yesterday I upgraded my first Server from Version 10.3.1 to 10.4.4 and I found below the "/var/www/vhosts" Folders
some Folders with the Subdomain Name. I had upgraded from 9.x some month ago and with this new Structure, on the
sever resides three(!) "Improvements" to find a better Structure to store the Data.

9.3.x

/var/www/vhosts/
domainname.xx
httpdocs
subdomain
sub1
httpdocs
sub2
httpdocs

10.3.x

/var/www/vhosts/
domainname.xx
httpdocs
sub1
sub2

10.4.4

/var/www/vhosts/
domainname.xx
httpdocs
sub1 <-Here are the content of the Subdomain ...
sub2
sub1.domainname.xx
anon_ftp
... some other stuff ...
sub2.domainname.xx
anon_ftp
... some other stuff ...

- What's the reason to change from version to version the folder-structure?
- Why do you don't migrate the old structure to the new forlder-structure?

But the best question:
- How can I change the Folder Structure permanently?

This new "Enhancement" of Plesk 10.4.4 is suitable to generate a complete chaos on a Server. Please follow the idea
you have 300-400 Domains and every domain have 3-4 Subdomains ... And you must Debugging a Website ..

Best regards
Michael
