• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Copy / Move one at a time through file manager

Hi,

I am using Plesk 9.5.1 and under a domain file manager, I highlight certain folders/files and click 'copy/move'.

I change the destination folder by adding one deeper or higher level. e.g. to change /httpdocs/here/ to /httpdocs/here/now/ or from /httpdocs/not/here/ to /httpdocs/here/

Then I click 'move'. After a few seconds the page reloads with 'Information: Selected files and directories were copied or moved.'

But only the first file or folder was moved. So I have to repeat the process again and again. It is more of a nightmare when I choose copy as I don't know if all, some or none of the files were copied to the new folder.

Is this a bug, or a setting in the system I can change somewhere?

Thanks for any support.
Andy

I just tired this on two servers and it also didn't work me. Seems like its something done by design. If you have a large amount of files to move I would do this through FTP, remote desktop if you have access or even asking your host to do this for you.
