Question Correct installation location of Rails in Plesk server?

soppi

New Pleskian
Hello.
My hosting service can work with Ruby 2.6.3 and I decided to install Rails 6.1.4.1

I've set Ruby Application Root at httpdocs/myrailsapp
and Plesk automatically set website at httpdocs/myrailsapp/public

The thing though is that everytime i visit the website it renders the rails public folder index.html and not my rails app.
If i remove index.html the website hangs.

What is the correct location of the rails app? It doesn't make sense to set a website serve on a static folder.

For example, for your subdomain ruby.domain.tld in Hosting Settings, set Document root to ruby.domain.tld/myrailsapp/public

yes, that's how it is at the moment BUT it loads the static index.html inside the public folder and not the rails app.
If i remove the index.html the website hangs.
What do i do?
