  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question Correlation of PHP settings "memory_limit", "post_max_size" and "upload_max_filesize"

I operate a PHP based forum in which I give the users the possibility to upload files with 1 GB in size.

That's why I set the values "memory_limit", "post_max_size" and "upload_max_filesize" to 1024M each.

But now I have read that "memory_limit" should be larger than "post_max_size" and "post_max_size" larger than "upload_max_filesize".

The big question is: How much larger? 1 MB? 25%? Doubled value? That's an information I could not find.

But I have to say that it seems to work with my current values.
