On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
I'm not really sure what you are asking. It is one of the packages that will get automatically installed when you install Plesk. There's nothing to do other than let it get installed.
If you are doing it the very very very manual way, package by package using rpm -ivh [packagename], then you would need to include it in the list of RPMs you'd install.
