Question CPU for IIS, per core or total?

Good morning,

Is CPU limit in IIS, which we can handle under Plesk on customer service plan (How to manage and monitor CPU/RAM usage per domains in Plesk for Windows Server), is percentage per core or percentage of total CPU?

I tried to look at IIS and Plesk documentation but I didn't found any information about this.

Total CPU, but it's more complicated than that.

Let's say that, for example, you have set an IIS Application Pool to consume no more than 10% of the CPU with a reset period of 10 seconds. That means that within the sliding window of 10 seconds, this Application Pool will be able to consume 10% of the total CPU time, e.g. take 100% of the CPU in the first second and 0% in the last 9 seconds.

Basically, it's recalculated as CPU usage within a sliding window.
