CPU Usage

I am having slowness just getting to the login page and I notice that my CPU usage climbs to about 80-90%.

If I check my email using Horde it climbs as well.. Now want to guess what happens when I do both that the same time.

OUCH - PINGED at 100%.

Here is what I am running plesk on:

VMWare: Dual Core 3.4 GHZ with 1 GB RAM. with 100 GB Hard Drive.

They say it is because I am running it on VMware - um well I run other control panels - AND I DON'T have this problem

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do.

what other cp you used ?

I use Helm on my other servers. I do not run another cp on this VPS- just wanted to clarify that.

VMware or VPS? What 3-rd party components were installed with Plesk? with Helm?

I use VMWare for both Helm and Plesk. But they are on different vps'
