• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Create domain fails with plesk 9

New Pleskian
Hello,
I get the following error after an upgrade from 8.6 to 9

Error: Unable to update hosting preferences: Unable to reconfigure Web server: websrvmng failed: Filename: \\?\C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\50\isapi\web.config
Error: Cannot write configuration file due to insufficient permissions
In module

at Microsoft.Web.Administration.ConfigurationManager.CommitChanges()
at Microsoft.Web.Administration.ServerManager.CommitChanges()
at CInternalUtils.Commit()
at CIIS7ServerManagerBase.Commit(CIIS7ServerManagerBase* )

This happens when I try to create a new domain at the second step.
Step 1 asks for domain info and login, then I hit next.
Step 2 shows my defaut setup and once again I hit next and on the reload I get the error.

Quick notes: I ran the plesk reconfigurator with Correct Disk permissions and Check component and folders options without any success. And everything was working in 8.6

Any advice on how to fix this ?

Thanks
