  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue custom sw-cp-server config is removed by update

Linulex

Silver Pleskian
Yesterday 8/sept, i added some headers to /etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/plesk.conf as stated in

tonight 9/sept update 18.0.38 update #1 was installed and the headers are gone again.

I do see "include conf.d/*plesk.inc;" in this config file

would it be ok to create a new file "zzzownconfigplesk.conf" in /etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/ and add my headers there?

would plesk remove that file?

regards
Jan

It seems to me that this should work and will not be removed on update. Worth trying.

@IgorG

thank you.

Maybe an idea to update the support article. Now users have the idea that they enter it once in /etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/plesk.conf and there ok. But that is only till the next update.

Regards
Jan

Your help article (the one linked) still tells people to modify a file which will be rolled back shortly afterwards.
