Customize server.xml?

Is there any way to modify a template or affect the format used by Plesk to generate the Tomcat configuration files, specifically "server.xml"?

I think this is an important option to have, as the default configuration will not meet general needs.

If that isn’t possible then as a work around I was thinking of adding an event handler to automatically update the "server.xml" file after each time it is generated by Plesk, although I cannot seem to find any events that are executed after changes to that file or any Tomcat changes are made.
