  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hi, I need support to resolve this situation, I can't enter Plesk, I get this error.
500 Plesk\Exception\Database
DB query failed: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory

Type Plesk\Exception\Database
Message DB query failed: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory
File Mysql.php
Line 79

I wanted to solve it by starting the mariadb service because repair indicates that it is stopped, but it won't let me and in SSH I got this data

systemctl status mariadb.service
Redirecting to /bin/systemctl restart mariadb.service
Job for mariadb.service failed because a fatal signal was delivered to the control process. See "systemctl status mariadb.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

I would greatly appreciate any help to resolve this situation.

First of all make sure that you have enough free disk space with the command

# df -h

If free disk space is ok, check other possible reasons for this issue: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/search?utf8=✓&query=QLSTATE[HY000]+[2002]+No+such+file+or+directory&commit=Search
Hi IgorG
loft8339:~# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
devtmpfs 7.8G 0 7.8G 0% /dev
tmpfs 7.8G 0 7.8G 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 7.8G 191M 7.6G 3% /run
tmpfs 7.8G 0 7.8G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/md1 1.9T 70G 1.8T 4% /
/dev/md0 495M 114M 356M 25% /boot
tmpfs 1.6G 0 1.6G 0% /run/user/0

And I checked the solutions that are listed in the link that you indicated but none have worked for me. I still have the same problem of not being able to enter plesk

Could you please try to get better details from /var/log/messages? Like pulling all lines that are related to mariadb, e.g.
# grep mariadb /var/log/messages
Normally from the entries there it becomes clear what the cause of startup problems of the database server is.
