• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Dedicated IP: Home Directory Inaccessible

I'm trying to create a domain on a dedicated IP, but every time I create the domain on the dedicated IP, I cannot login to the ftp account for the domain because I get the following error:

530 User ffhybrid cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.

The site works perfectly fine if I give it the main shared IP address of the server.. but I don't want to do that.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

~Garrett

Have you tried using ftp.domain.com as the FTP server setting, I've found using the IP itself sometimes causes problems, and oddly sometimes the exact opposite but haven't been able to find any consistency unfortunately.

I haven't tried that yet because the domain is in the process of propagation... but I will try that as soon as it becomes available :)

Thanks,

~Garrett
