• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Default Container firewall access rules

Fronobulax

New Pleskian
Greetings,
If I setup the container firewall in "Normal" mode I have a list of standard rules I can apply. There is a named "Access to Plesk Control Panel" which allows me to access the control panel. However, on the control panel the option for Server->Plesk->Updates and Upgrades is not available as it defaults to port 8447. I have to manually add the port to ipchains (and it periodically resets itself)...

My question is this. Are these rules and the default ports standard out of the box defaults, and if so shouldn't there be a rule that would allow me to access Updates and Upgrades?

If this is something that has been altered by my VPS provider I can go back to them, but their response was that I needed to bring up the issue with Parallels.
