Issue Delete purchasing WP Guardian addon

Fede Marsell

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Almalinux 9.2
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.72 #2
Feature introduced in WP Toolkit 6.8.1.

My customers are not customers of PLESK or any other company. Therefore, PLESK should not offer them payment options without my consent.

Installing PLESK does not give PLESK permission to introduce payment options for my customers.

How can delete ALL payable options instruce in PLESK?

Hello, @Fede Marsell . I will double-check with our team how to disable the option and I will follow-up with confirmation as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your patience in the meantime.

@Fede Marsell Can you be a bit more specific about which payment options you're concerned about?

If you're talking about WP Guardian addon purchase/upgrade link now shown to server administrators when WP Guardian license limit is reached, this link is configurable in the panel.ini file. You can specify the URL of your choice through the "purchaseDeluxeGuardianBaseUrl" option so that all WP Guardian purchase/upgrade prompts go to this URL.

If you're talking about something else, please elaborate, so we can help you out.

I’m really tired of Plesk trying to monetize my customers by pushing paid services without my consent -things like WP Guardian add-ons, Codebase options, Hire a developer, payment options for Sitejet, and so on.

This practice is not ethical. My customers are my responsibility, not Plesk’s marketplace.

Question:

How can I completely disable all paid products, upsells, and payment options in Plesk so that none of these offers are ever shown to my customers?

Thanks,
