• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Delete Qmail's remote queue with qmHandle and time out options for SMTP

Hello,

I would like to know, how safe is to use qmHandle to delete e-mails from the remote queue in Qmail?

I have almost 400 messages in the remote queue and since they have been there for more than 72 hours I'm thinking about using qmHandle to delete the remote queue.

How safe is that? Did anyone ever done that?

Also, is there an option in the qmail configuration that tells it to try to send the message, if it cat in 48 hours it will give up and drop the message?

Thank you,

Regards,
Filipe Miranda

I do that all the time, although 400 isnt that much to worry about. If it cant send the message for more than 5 days, it will automatically delete it.
