Question Deleting old site backups

Andrew_Newth

Basic Pleskian
Hi all, just wondering if it is possible to simply delete out of date backup files in my FTP storage outside of the Backup Manager without messing up the scheduling in Plesk.

There are loads of older backups that haven't been deleted/cleaned up automatically by Plesk and going through each site one by one is proving extremely slow and time consuming due to the amount of time Plesk is taking to get ready to delete the backups.

Cheers!

Thanks for the response m3lezZ. The link you provided is for plesk linux?
I am able to delete backups via the Plesk panel, the issue is it takes forever for Plesk to do this. One site has taken almost 30 minutes alone. I have full access to the file system so my question is can I just go into the backup folder and delete the unwanted backups manually without causing issues within the backup scheduling?

Many thanks.
