dhclient???

Hi, I just checked our logs and we are getting alot of dhclient activity.

Do I need dhclient?

Mar 6 14:03:27 domain.com dhclient: send_packet: Operation not permitted
Mar 6 14:03:46 domain.com dhclient: DHCPREQUEST on eth0 to someip port 67

The send was allowed until we blocked it with our firewall because I dont think it should be happening every EIGHT seconds. Whats going on im tottaly lost?
