difference between spamassassin light and full?

hi everyone,

after two days of testing i've found something interesting:
there are two spamd processes on an plesk 7.5.3 machine, one with pid-file spamd_full and one with spamd_light.
in my .qmail-files is the light-pid-file mentioned, and server-wide and user_prefs checks are ignored...
if i change light t full in .qmail, the checks are used!!

what is the difference between those two processes?!
why is the light ignoring global-settings and user-settings!?

thanks for help
michael

It seems to me that when you configure an email account in the plesk control panel spam settings, and uncheck the "Use server wide settings", the .qmail file reads the light version. When the box is checked, it reads the full version.

My question is, no matter what's checked, it seems to ignore the server settings regardless. Why?
