  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Dir permissions not correct when creating a dir in Joomla

Plesk 8.3 on Centos
Domain uses Joomla 1.5 and when we use the media manager in Joomla to create a dir., the owner shows up as Apache/Apache so Joomla users or admin can not add files to the dir. Also when using the Plesk file manager for the Domain I do not have priv. to make any changes to that dir even if I am the Admin.
Can anyone shed some light on this

Thanks

Permissions for Joomla

The permissions should be set to 755. Just block them off using WinSCP or use the -R for Recursive for the entire Joomla Directory but that is leaving open a whole can of worms.
