• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Directory password protected issue

FedericoGB25

New Pleskian
Hello everyone :)
I have a WebHost with a Plesk Panel. I am trying to block some directory access from browser with a password. But when I block some (XenForo) folders, it ask me the password on the entire Website.

Blocked folders:
/data
/internal_data
/styles

Can someone help me? Thanks :)

Just throw in a blank index page instead of password protecting it. By the sounds of it, you're password protecting a directory that has files that are being included on the main site.

I have a private pages that I would like to protect from normal users instead Administrators.
For example: I have a XenForo forum and I would like to block the "/install" directory. How can I do it?

Thanks a lot :)
