• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Disabling or changing the HTTP port

I was given my own Plesk control panel and SSH connection and its own IP. The problem is that port 80 is used by Apache, and I want to host my own application on port 80 for my particular IP. The domain listed in the Websites section can't be deleted. The checkbox to delete it is completely grayed out, and I suspect it's because it's the primary domain.

Is there anything the administrator of my Plesk instance can do to disable the entire web segment (for my IP only)? He's tried to comment out the vhost in Apache, but that caused Plesk to complain that apache isn't configured correctly.

Thanks,
Jason
