  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question DMZ inside Plesk

stussi

New Pleskian
Hi,

can I configure a DMZ directly into plesk (firewall+dns)?

Here is what I have:
1. an internal IP configuration with DMZ (192.168.*.*, 255.255.255.0, gateway and DNS) to configure on LAN1
2. an external public IP address 81.**.**.**.** to configure on LAN2

How I should configure the Plesk server to allow connection from the public IP using the internal DMZ?

I think I should set up the network internal IP configuration on LAN 1, than ADD two ip addresses in plesk, one for the internal lan and one for the external public IP.

After this everything should work? Or I have also to configure something in the plesk firewall configurations? Should I forward all incoming traffic from LAN2 (public ip) to LAN1 (internal IP) or viceversa?

Please help me :D Thanks!
