Dns admin dead after 7.5.1->7.5.2 update w/ RH FC2

crshjnke

New Pleskian
After updating I needed to change a customer to exclusive IP for SSL cert.
And I get this error
ERROR Up LevelUp Level

Unable to assign variables for PHostingForm: Unable to get hardquota state: dnsmng: Unable to search PTR records for test.com :Got error 28 from table handler

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

0: /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/domains/hosting/phosting_setup.php:290 psaerror(string "Unable to assign variables for PHostingForm: Unable to get hardquota state: dnsmng: Unable to search PTR records for test.com :Got error 28 from table handler")

After more digging I can no longer change or update any dns records within plesk.

Also it seems the update has reverted Mysql back to 3.23 it was 4.1 could this be the root of my problems?

Thanks

Same Problem Here

I have the exact same error message. 7.5.2 on Fedora Core 2.

Cannot add or remove domains, or adjust DNS info.

7.5.2 upgrade has been a total nightmare - really don't recommend doing it. After the Zend/Ioncube problem (reported elsewhere on the forum), the upgrade actually changed the MAC address on the server network card, stopping loads of PHP scripts and preventing the machine from booting after a restart.

Took ages to spot that!

Hotfix is already installed.

OK. Not sure how the disk is partitioned or how to check root usage.

All the websites are uploaded using the root account, so presumably if there's some quota on the root user, that could be increased?

Got it. Loads of downloaded files in /root. Duly moved to /home and now everything works again.

Many thanks!

Yeah I had to link /root/psa to a larger partition

Also moved /tmp so I will not have the same problem again

I am having the same problem. but I cant see any files to delete. my /tmp and /psa are near empty nothing big in them at all

What does df -H show?

Heres and example.

/dev/sda1 510M 209M 275M 44% /

Your root file system is full you need to poke around and see whats using it all.
Mine was located in /root/psa this is where it stores the update files by default. You might just need to move them or delete them.

I already did that. deleted everthing in /psa and /tmp. made no difference. But will keep poking around

There should not be very much in there, but when root is full a lot of things can act strange.

Here is an example of mine.

the sk option give you size in KB so right now nothinng is taking up more than 116KB.
Although I see 3 directories that could have other junk.

thanks.

Dont forget that /root is only one dir that is located on /

When you look at your df -h you have
/
/home
/var
/usr

those files taking space could be in any other dir located on /
