DNS Different Servers for Mail and Web

Hi all,

Having a real spot of bother here, I'm new to DNS and it's rather confusing.

I would like to host email and webmail on my server (Server1) but redirect all web traffic to another server (Server 2).

This is what I have changed the DNS records to, as per below:

Server1 IP Addres PTR domain.com
domain.com. MX (10) mail.domain.com.
domain.com. NS ns.domain.com.
ftp.domain.com. CNAME domain.com.
lists.domain.com. CNAME domain.com.
mail.domain.com. A Server1 IP Address
ns.domain.com. A Server1 IP Address
webmail.domain.com. A Server1 IP Address
www.domain.com. A Server2 IP Address

I am not convinced it is working as when I do a DNS Checker Report (http://www.dnsreport.com/) it shows me Server1 IP Address for www record!? Any ideas would be muchly appreciated?

Many thanks for any help you can provide.. . .

Philippe
