• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

dns for subdomain not responding

Hi, I've added a subdomain to an account and added the appropriate DNS entry, an A record pointing to the IP address of the web site. It's been a day or two now though and the subdomain still isn't resolving.

If I do a dig on the domain itself I get the right IP address in the response so the DNS server is responding. I just don't get a dig response for the sub domain. After adding a new DNS record, do I need to reload or do anything for Bind to start responding?

thnx
