• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

DNS Primary Master selected by Plesk is Wrong

I have 4 nameservers ID'd in my zone file:

ns1.slaveco.com
ns2.slaveco.com
ns8.primaryco.com
ns9.primaryco.com

my primary master is ns8.primaryco.com, but plesk is using the ns1.slaveco.com (because it is the lowest alphanumerically, I suspect?).

It is therefor treating a slaved server as the primary server which is causing errors. In cpanel, I had the ability to edit the entire SOA. In Plesk, I only see the ability to modify the timers.

How can I modify the SOA primary master values?

I tried changing them in the C:\SWSoft\Plesk\dns\var\domain.com file, but it gets overwritten when any change is made to Plesk.

whoops, I posted to the wrong forum... I do have 7.5.6 for windows.
