• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

DNS question using 2 plesk servers

Hi,

I have two servers running plesk. I am in the process of moving domains from one to the other. Until I can move all of the site over, I need to set up email to run on the new server while the the site remain on the old server. Can someone direct me how he DNS records should look on both servers to make this work. I tried variations but it has not worked yet.

Do I need to set up the domain as a hosted account on the new server or an alias?

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Not sure that you can avoid mailserver downtime during domains migration process.
