Question DNS server - best practices?

Hey guys,

so up to my interest to offer my consulting customers the needed webspace packages as shared/managed packages there are some best practice questions to dns servers.

When it becomes big, is there a way to use Plesk DNS on servers, that are just there for DNS? Like i have multiple plesk servers which running there own full environment without dns, but there are 2 plesk dns servers, which just bring up the dns possibility to all the environments? Or there are some other best practices?
