DNS setup for subdomains

I created a subdomain sub.domainA.com in Plesk. I also have an external domain www.domainB.com .
domainB has to point to the subdomain. I already setup a domain alias for domainB in Plesk.
Now domainB points to domainA instead of the subdomain of domainA. What do I have to do to fix this problem? Do I have to change the DNS settings of this subdomain?
