Question Docker: Environment variable with equal sign

Filipe Moreira

New Pleskian
Hi all,

I'm trying to configure the jenkins container to use a specific prefix so that I can configure apache to do a reverse proxy, from the container documentation that should easily be achieved by setting the environment variable JENKINS_OPTS to "--prefix=/jenkins"

Unfortunatly when I try to do so I get the error "The value of an environment variable cannot contain the '=' (equal) sign."

Is there a workaround/fix for this issue?

Best Regards,

Filipe

I hit a similar issue. My workaround is to create a custom entrypoint.sh which can the appropriate environment variable within that script.

Fixed!
