• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I have a vps with w2k3 nad plesk 7.6.

I have my own nameservers on same machine. Both the nameservers point to different Ips but on same machine.

I configured a domain in plesk and due to some problems I deleted it.

When I reconfigured it.
the following error messages were given.

1. Error: Unable to send notification: mail() failed: SMTP server response: 501 Your domain does not seem to be valid. Could not find MX record for your domain.

2. Error: Unable to update hosting preferences: Unable to create Blog SiteBuilder subdomain: Unable to make changes to the subdomain: SubDomain::update() failed: Incorrect parameter values were specified...

After some time I could access my website but only without www

Then it cmae with and without www.

After few hours it went down again even withour a www.

3. When I change the Cname error
Warning: Unable to resolve canonical name rdadvertising.org.
Warning: WWW prefix was changed. Be sure to modify the SSL certificate accordingly.

It seems there are some old records for rdadvertising.org which are causing these errors.

When I access it after some time the default plesk page appears which says that
If you see this page it means:
hosting for this domain is not configured or there's no such domain registered in Plesk.

I think the old records of my domain are creating some problem but I am not sure.

Is there someone who could help me.

Thanks.

Answer

1 - if use MailEnable you can Change this setting at :
MailEnable => Connectors => SMTP => Properties => Security => UnCheck " Reject mail if sender address is from an invalid domain " => OK all Page

But this method is not very good , because Spammer Can use your server for send Spam mail

2 -Your PHP.ini setting may be changed
please check ( sendmail_from = [email protected] ) in php.ini , this mail should valid and registered in your server

php.ini is in C:\windows folder

Thanks
