  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domain Name Registration

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

I currently register all my domain names through 123-Reg.co.uk

They arere cheap and provide total DNS Management which is helpful when pointing domains and dns entries to my server.

I'm now looking to put in place some kind of automated domain name WhoIS and purchasing system, but not sure where to go for this.

Any one have any sugestions?

I could just setup a store front and manualy register domains as I do at the moment, but the fear is if someone places an order for a domain at night (UK) online, and when I come to process the registration in the morning the domain is gone, I would look a little unprofessional.
