Domain not picked up in directory

I'm new to Plesk so just trying to get to grips with it and have this initial problem.

Have set up Client and Domain and Plesk has built the mydomain.com directory under /var/www/vhosts/ with all the standard directories beneath it. I have put files in the httpdocs folder and then tried to reference from browser using www.mydomain.com/file_i_want_to_display.html. However it seems to be picking up the index.html file in the /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs directory.

Any ideas why the domain is not mapping to the directory as expected?
