• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Domain redirect does not work with https

Basic Pleskian
Dear Parallels-Team,

I had a domain called my-doman123.de which used https. Now I try to redirect this domain to new-domain.de (without https). If I type "http://www.my-doman123" it works (redirect to new-domain.de) - if I type "https://www.my-doman123.de" it does not work.

Could you help me out?

Dear PLESK-Team,

could you please help me?

The problem in 2 words:

https://www.olddomain.de shows Parallels Default Page (that's not what I want - I want it to be redirected to newdomain.de).
http://www.olddomain.de redirects to https://www.newdomain.de (that's what I want).

You get default page because that domain does not exist, but you can fix that very easy. Just go to the Websites & Domains -> scroll down and find your domain, click on it -> click on "Enable SSL support" - > save changes. After that your page should load normal, without Plesk default page, with https.

Can you post your htaccess file?
