• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Domain resolves to another IP

Hello

I have a VPS using Plesk 9.0.1

I have set up several domains that have been registered with the same hosting provider and have had no problems.

But when I change the name servers for a domain registered elsewhere I get this message when I set up the domain on the server - Warning: The domain does not resolve or resolves to another IP address (rictyler.com.). Please correct DNS settings.

This is one of the domain names I'm am trying to got working - www.rictyler.com

A DNS check says that the name servers are in place ns68.1and1.co.uk ns67.1and1.co.uk but I cant connect to the server via FTP and a global DNS check fails across the map.

Can anyone give me some advice on what I need to do about this?

I am new to Plesk and just wanted a simple hosting server for my web business.

Many thanks

Neil
