Domains during a migration

Hey there,

I'm doing a migration from one server to another with something like six domains on it. The target server has Plesk but the original doesn't - its plain vanilla freebsd.

The thing I'm wondering is how can I set up new domains on the target server while still keeping the originals up until I'm sure everything on the original server is working on the target server as desired?

I ask this because it seems Plesk can only set up domains as fqdn's rather than just ip addresses - does that sound right?

I just dont want to screw up the original domains before the new server is ready to roll. It's probably obvious that I'm new at this so any tips would be well received.

Thanks in advance,
