Issue dovecot fts_squat is deprecated - how to activate full text search?

Hi everyone,

Plesk support seems to still recommend fts_squat as plugin to activate full text search on dovecot. However, this plugin has been deprecated since dovecot 2.1 and Plesk is currently running 2.3.4.1.

The search speed is slow in Roundcube or Horde

The currently recommended way is solr, however this needs to be compiled manually. Is the plesk dovecot package compiled to support solr full text search? If no, when is that planned or how can that be done manually?

Did you ever had a chance to find an answer to this question?
I'll be also interested in enabling full text search in dovecot.
