The log files which are located under / opt / psa / var / log / maillog spit me this out:

(PTR-RR) of your IP address does not follow our guidelines. Possible reasons for this can be: 1. The PTR-RR states that the IP address was dynamically allocated. 2. The PTR-RR is a generic standard entry of your provider. Please allocate an independent and fully qualified domain name (FQDN) to your email server and the valid PTR-RR. 3. Individual rejection of the PTR-RR for system protection reasons. Please contact the administrator of your system. Under the e-mail setting I have selected via "domain-ip addresses". How can or how should I proceed to fix the error?

Thank you and greetings from germany

Hi DIEEX1m

Pls. have a look at the following investigations:

snitec.net resolves to 213.202.212.47
but
213.202.212.47 resolves to rs000553.fastrootserver.de

According to your error message and the explanation:
(PTR-RR) of your IP address does not follow our guidelines. Possible reasons for this can be: 1. The PTR-RR states that the IP address was dynamically allocated. 2. The PTR-RR is a generic standard entry of your provider. Please allocate an independent and fully qualified domain name (FQDN) to your email server and the valid PTR-RR. 3. Individual rejection of the PTR-RR for system protection reasons. Please contact the administrator of your system
GMX stopped accepting eMails from IPs, where the REVERSE check resolves to a dynamic domain - name. Pls. consider to ask your hosting provider ( fastrootserver ) to reverse the rented IP to your MAIN - domain and change the hostname according to it. Most hosting provider offer the options to change the reverse DNS for rented IPs over their Control Panel, so that customers don't have to ask for the change over the support. ;)
