Edit metadata not updating site description

Hi When editing the metadata in settings, it is not updating - so the description shown on google is wrong (I must have missed changing the default description when I first set up the site, How can I correct this ? I have also entered new key words and these have not updated either. Thanks

Need to update each page individually

Answered my own question - Need to update each page individually as search engine will pick up data for each invividual page - Sorry
