I got a report from some of the mail users that they are having trouble login into their accounts. They were being told that their password was incorrect.
I reviewed the login information of some of them and compared to what they are using and it should be working. I did this using MySQL and PSA tables.
I also changed the password for one, and tried with no luck.
It is worth mentioning that the problem is also present while logging using an email client such as Outlook Express or Thunderbird.
And it is happening either while sending and receiving.
For the tests I used the webmail and had no luck. I am getting "Login failed" messages from Horde.
I found nothing similar at the forums, so I am now asking for your support.
I compiled the following list of the domains wich have accounts with problems:
carasa.com.mx
tecnautilus.com
lacazadora.com.mx
idmex.com.mx
immex.com.mx
Not all the accounts in this domains have problems, just some of them.
What I have done up to now.
- Changed the password for the account, and tried with no luck.
- Did a database checkup and maintenance and that was not a solution.
- Created a new account on one of the troubled domains. It has the same problem.
