Issue email blacklist not working

Michael Gabriel

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS Linux 7.9.2009
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian v18.0.49_build1800230110.16 os_CentOS 7
i havent used that feature before and all i can find are threads with no answers or solutions.
using postfix on centos 7.9

ive added 3 entries under tools & settings -> mailserver -> blacklist
nothing seems to get blocked.
checked the /etc/postfix/master and main.cf and there is no reject file referenced.
also no .db files in the postfix folder.
is that even working for anyone ? where should the entries be ?

I use this feature without any issues on my CentOS 7.9 servers.

However it's worth noting that the Postfix blacklist blocks messages based on their envelope sender (shown as the Return-Path in the header of an email), and not the FROM header. Which, understandably, can be confusing.

The blacklist is configured /etc/postfix/main.cf with the check_sender_access setting using the hash:/var/spool/postfix/plesk/blacklists value.

dont know how its in english, but in german the interface just asks for a "domainname".
so its not quite clear whether thats as part of an email address or as part of a host name.
