Resolved email not sent or received

Good afternoon everyone,
I have a problem with my plesk mail.
After a incident with my woocommerce update i have to put back a backup of my online store, that was last friday. After that i found out that my email whas not working anymore. (I use the plesk email). I lookt to the dns of the email and everything is oke by my. By mistake i install dkim and after that i deinstall it.
I dont see eny error message when i sent a e-mail. Everything looks fine but the email is never Receveid by the costumer. Also when i sent myself a email thats not comming into my privet mailbox.
I also put down the firewall of plesk to check or thats the issue but thats not the case. I put in a printscreen of the dns of my sever. Maby thats there is enyone that see something that i not see whats missing or wrong.
Im form the netherlands so e little excus for my english.

Heey.
Yes i have problems with both. I use wp mail smtp on my wp site. The mails (orders for the costumer) and mails sent from my webmail are not receveid and also incomming mail are not receveid by my.

I see. When you encounter email issues you'll have to start by looking in to the mail log. There you will find useful information from your servers email traffic. What do the last lines of your mail log show? You'll find the mail log at # /var/log/maillog.

I dont kno yet i dont look in to it. Thats only to check ad the command line i suppose?

Yes, you'll have to acces the log file trough command line. There is also a paid Plesk Extension you can buy and install on your server which let's access the log file directly trough the Plesk interface.

When i try to do it by ssh i see the next.
I do var/log/maillog and i see, permission denied.

I sal try that when im home from work. I did su but without the #

sudo is correct, the # is the character the indicates that the command shall be executed from a root level prompt. I should have written > sudo instead, because in that situation you do not yet have root privileges. I'll update my post accordingly.

Oke i understand. So the right command is: sudo /var/log/maillog. Is that correct? Im new for ssh so that why i ask.

then you have root privileges for all subsequent commands and can omit the "sudo".

i dont understand everything but it seems to me that the mailserver can not connect to something or to the local host.
this type of errors i cant understand. so if there is soneone to help me to fixt this that sall be great.

I check the logs again and i think that i forget to restart the vps again last friday. I did it today and the mail is working again.
