• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Email Problem

Hi,

I'm running on a PLESK 9.2, and Mailenable Enterprise and I'm encountering this issue:

I have a domain abc.com that is pointed to Web Host A. All emails and website are hosted with Web Host A, and the DNS is pointed to Web Host A IP Address as well.

I've created an account for abc.com on my server (i.e. Plesk 9.2, Mailenable Enterprise).

*note DNS of abc.com is still pointed to Web Host A*

If I use an email on the same server, ([email protected]) to send an email to abc.com, it doesn't get directed to Web Host A. Instead, Plesk / Mailenable will send the email to the abc.com located on the same server.

How can I overwrite this rule?

Thanks

You need to disable Mail service for that particular domain (Plesk CP > Domains > domain.com > Mail settings > Disable)
so Plesk mail server does not attempt to send emails locally and send as to external domain (to MX record).
