  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Email Security, clamd problem

JogoVogo

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS Linux 7.9.2009 (Core)
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian v18.0.48_build1800221104.03
Hello everyone, after I activated the full version, the load from the server exploded.

clamd spent according to top about 95% cpu.

With the free version everything was ok what can I do?

Although I have turned off or uninstalled antivirus again, I see the clamd daemon.

URGENT

The free version of Plesk Email Security does not include ClamAV (anti-virus scanning). So if you just bought the full version then ClamAV just got activated. It's very, very resource intensive. As you've noticed. Resource usage will easy a bit as soon scanning has finished. But may return when the next scan runs.

Hi, thank you very much for your answer!

that I know but have already uninstalled the service again.

but clamd is still running...

I forgot what the exact command is to stop Clamd on CentOS. I think service clamd stop. You'll have to try and perhaps Google a bit.
